Boosting our AI cred with human intelligence
Our recently announced $2 million seed round is just the beginning of the next phase of our adventure in the world of Conversational AI. As we continue our skyrocketing growth, we’ve added three experienced directors and further bolstered our team of talented developers.
That being said, we’re ecstatic to welcome Brad Wing, Patrick Dubé and Véronique Gareau-Chiasson as VP Partnerships, Head of Design, and Director of Customer Success respectively.
“In 2019, Heyday is putting its foot on the accelerator. After signing a barrage of new clients, it was time to take our team to the next level. These strategic new hires will allow us to solidify our foundation as a company while scaling and preparing for the future,” says Étienne Mérineau, co-founder of Heyday.
Brad Wing (ex-SweetIQ, Yellow Pages) is an established figure on the Montreal startup scene with years of experience in helping to develop tech companies. As one of the early executive team members of SweetIQ, he was instrumental in helping the company accomplish four straight years of +400% growth and scaling their team from 5 to 150 people, leading to its exit to USA TODAY (GANNETT group) in 2017.
During his almost 20 years of experience, Patrick Dubé (ex-Sid Lee, AKQA, Tribal, DDB, Cirque du Soleil) has worn many hats as a designer, art director and creative director. His work has won multiple awards and has earned him a seat on the jury for the CSS Design Awards. As Head of Design, Patrick will be propelling Heyday’s visual identity and overall branding.
With 12 years of experience under her belt in digital project management, Véronique Gareau-Chiasson (ex-Sid Lee, DentsuBos, MultipleMedia), she’s worked with clients like Air Canada, Hitachi, and Just For Laughs. As Heyday’s Director of Customer Success, Véronique will be managing our production team and implementing processes to optimize collaboration and improve our product offering.
Heyday is also excited to welcome Marie-Eve Arsenault (ex-Sid Lee, Rinaldi) as conversation designer, and Jordan Ben Mkaddem, Mikael Brochu, Nuttakit Phichitsakuldes, Phil Duong and Xavier Sumba as our newest developers. All of our newest hires will be instrumental in contributing to the success of Heyday’s live chat platform and our clients (including Danone, Decathlon and leading luxury brand LVMH).
